The Young IFA Network (YIN) was established with the aim to increase the participation of tax professionals in IFA during the early stages of their careers so that they can develop meaningful and long-lasting relationships with their peers from across the world.
The YIN Committee and YIN Representatives assist to develop, propose and implement various activities at the Branch, regional and global levels of IFA.

Joining IFA’s network of young professionals (under 30) gives you access to YIN Events, opportunities to be a representative at global conferences and participate as a Rapporteur. Young members can join Study Groups, apply for the YIN Committee and become eligible for Council Membership.

YIN COMMITTEE
The YIN Canada committee is now accepting applications for new members!
The YIN Canada Committee (the “YIN Committee”) seeks interested and dedicated volunteers for the membership term commencing in January 2027. The YIN Committee strives to create opportunities for Young IFA Network members (“YINs”) to encourage YINs to participate actively in scientific research relating to international/comparative fiscal law and the financial and economic aspects of taxation, as well as to promote social networking with fellow professionals at the IFA Canada level and worldwide. For this purpose, “YIN” is defined as individuals who have been working in the taxation field for 15 years or less.
YIN Committee membership is open to tax professionals who have worked in the taxation field for 15 years or less. The deadline for submitting applications is October 9, 2026.
The YIN Committee is a working committee rather than an honourary board. We are looking for members who will actively contribute. Members attend monthly teleconference meetings and are expected to plan and take part in professional, educational, mentoring and networking events for YINs.
The YIN Committee’s composition aims to reflect the diversity of the IFA’s membership, including representation from a range of different organizations, geographic locations and tax experience/practice.
