Around the World in Eighty Audit Queries: International Tax Audits in Canada

This webinar will provide a practical overview of the key audit initiatives undertaken by the Canada Revenue Agency that touch on international tax matters. The session will explore the various types of audits that international tax practitioners may encounter, including residency audits, section 94 deemed-resident trust audits, transfer pricing audits, and Global Wealth Audits (formerly known as Related Party Initiative, or RPIs). Speakers will also discuss the CRA’s approach to requests for foreign-based information and exchanges of information among tax authorities. The webinar is intended to help practitioners identify issues that arise in the course of these audits.
