ALBERTA

This program may be eligible for up to 11 hours of eligible CPD activity.
The optional workshop “EIFEL (not in Paris)” is eligible for 1 additional hour of CPD activity.

Alberta Lawyers are encouraged to develop an annual CPD plan, whether on their own or by using the Professional Development Profile and accompanying proficiency scale. The Law Society of Alberta does not accredit courses offered by CLE providers nor assign hours to a course. It is the decision of each lawyer whether a CPD course or activity meets the requirements of Rule 67.1 and whether to include it in their CPD Plan.

BRITISH COLUMBIA

This program has been approved by the Law Society of British Columbia for up to 11 CPD credits.
The optional workshop “EIFEL (not in Paris)” is eligible for 1 additional hour of CPD activity.

MANITOBA

This program has been approved by the Law Society of British Columbia for up to 11 CPD credits.
The optional workshop “EIFEL (not in Paris)” is eligible for 1 additional hour of CPD activity.

The Law Society of Manitoba does not accredit providers, but will have the discretion to determine that activities offered by a specific provider are not eligible activities if they do not adequately promote competent practice. It is up to the lawyer to determine if the activity is an eligible CPD activity.

NEW BRUNSWICK

This program may be reported for up to 11 hours of eligible CPD activity.
The optional workshop “EIFEL (not in Paris)” is eligible for 1 additional hour of CPD activity

The Law Society of New Brunswick does not accredit providers however practicing Members of the Law Society of New Brunswick will continue to need to select appropriate educational activities and comply with the Rules on Mandatory Continuing Professional Development and the Requirements in all respects. Members are required to annually certify to the Law Society that they have completed their CPD requirements.

ONTARIO

This program is eligible for up to 11 Substantive Hours.
The optional workshop “EIFEL (not in Paris)” is eligible for 1 additional hour of CPD activity.

According to the Law Society of Ontario, substantive hours may address substantive or procedural law topics and/or law related subjects that are relevant to the lawyer’s or paralegal’s practice and professional development.

QUEBEC

This program has been approved by the Barreau du Québec for up to 11 hours of professional development.
The optional workshop “EIFEL (not in Paris)” is eligible for 1 additional hour of CPD activity.

SASKATCHEWAN

This program may be eligible for 11 hours of continuing professional development, under the Law Society of Saskatchewan Continuing Professional Development Policy.
The optional workshop “EIFEL (not in Paris)” is eligible for 1 additional hour of CPD activity.
 
In accordance with such Policy, lawyers are ultimately responsible for reporting their CPD activities, ensuring that those CPD activities satisfy overall subject matter requirements and/or ethics criteria, and retaining records of those CPD activities.
